A fabulous mixed media painting by a talented artist.

It depicts a herd of Fallow Deer grazing in parkland, three in the foreground and others beyond. A tree lined boundary with some distinctive buildings behind including an old Dutch style barn.

Regrettably and surprisingly it is unsigned, the only clue a framer's label verso for the Stamford Artist's Gallery in Lincolnshire.  This suggests that perhaps this is view of the Deer Park at Burghley House in Stamford.   However I purchased the picture near Hampton Court so it may possibly be Bushy Park.  But it is not necessary to know the location to enjoy the image.
Note the telephone number given is 5 digit rather than 6 which means the picture is 1980s or 90s.

Painted with oil pastels and watercolour on grey coloured watercolour paper.   In excellent original condition.  Colours fresh and bright and no marks.

Smartly presented with a buff coloured card mount with hand drawn edging within a gilt wood frame. Both the mount and the frame are in very good condition.

Glazed and ready to hang.  Please excuse flash/reflection in the photographs some of which have been taken through the glass.

Measures 40 x 42cm including the frame, the painting only is 21 x 24.5cm.

Postage £7 to mainland UK, £24 to mainland Europe and £48 to the USA.
