DESCRIPTION:
This is a nice vintage original art watercolor and gouache landscape painting. The painting depicts people and a horse drawn carriage in an English landscape. The painting has a church painted in the background and thatched roof cottages with floral gardens along a dirt road path. The painting is s framed in a gold toned picture frame under glass with matting paper board. The item is painted on paper. The item is a hand painted original work of art landscape watercolor painting with gouache paint accents (see photos). The painting does not look to be signed by the artist, but I have not removed the painting from the frame to look below the matting or on the back side of the painting (see photos). The item is from an estate liquidation (see photos). I do not know about the artist or the origin of the painting, but it looks to be English in origin to me. The item framed measures in total about 18 inches high and it is about 25 inches wide. The painting portion without the picture frame or the matting paper measures about 13 inches high and it is about 20 inches wide. The picture frame has some wear (see photos). The painting has some age wear protected under glass (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This is a nice original vintage English cottage watercolor landscape painting to add to your collection.
