Angle proof, instant re-set, clean start, clean finish. Perfom totally surrounded.

Such a strong effect, you even believe it yourself for a moment!

The magician shows his hands to be clean... a deck of cards is shuffled by the spectator, and the magician then takes the deck and immediately offers the spectator to 'pick a card'. The card is placed on top of the deck and immediately starts to rise - eerily.

Then, the impossible: the magician takes the card BELOW the floating card to prove there's nothing below - but he then moves it ABOVE the floating card to prove there's nothing above.

The card slowly descends - and lands back atop the deck, and the whole deck is immediately handed out for inspection - clean. And the magician's hands? Clean also.

At this point, there is speculation, but the magician immediately takes any chosen single card from the deck and floats it again! The card rising three inches from his palm!

Once again, the card settles, and the magician AND the card are totally clean.

I know what you're thinking, and you're right! There's only one way this can be done!!!

Even so, I bought it, and was pleasantly surprised that this new handling really does look like magic (after some practice).

The DVD is of a very good quality - clear pictures, simple explanation and you even get a link to a support forum! And no padding in the way of menus and stuff... the thing just kicks straight in and gets you down to business.

The guy who actually demos the effect shows step-by-step the setup, and various performance methods. The whole thing is a no-nonsense, straight to the point affair.

As you can gather, there's no bells and whistles here, folks...

I've been asked a couple of times about this effect on this forum, and the trouble is, to explain it is to give away the secret! Let's just say that you'll be pleasantly surprised. Watch the demo video! Also, be aware that there's nothing but a DVD in the box, and you will possibly need to make an additional purchase. Enough said.

The bottom line...

I've only used this effect twice in public so-far, but I was pretty amazed at the reaction. It does feel like real magic. The other effects I've got of a similar nature always leave me cold and flat, and I've rarely repeated them.

This brings a totally new (to my knowledge) handling to an old effect.

A good street magic effect, or even dropped into a closeup routine.
