Jesus, Mary  & Joseph! Made out of clay. And the pieces have been fired, but not glazed. I think that's how these were made. The colors of the them are like canvas. The overall effect is natural. And interestingly they are faceless. And they are quite small. The tallest one, Joseph, is no more than 2". Very very cool. A total artist made this set.
