Offering for your consideration is this Vintage Santa and Sleigh Pulled by One Reindeer Ceramic Planter made in Japan in the 1950's.  This tabletop/shelf or mantel display measures 7.5"L x 2.75"W x 4.5"H.  The planter portion measures 3.5"L x 2.25"W x 2.25"D.  At one time this piece had a foil sticker reading 'Japan' and maybe a brand or hallmark but can't remember.  With the exception of a couple of rough spots on the front interior portion of the sleigh, this items is free of nicks, chips, cracks, serious staining or repair.  It does have worn paint, especially the gold; minor crazing and very minor stain in the bottom portion of the planter (see photos).
