Lovely mid 19th century fabric. Fabulous stylized floral motif in wonderful jewel tones in aqua, pinks reds, golds and cream on black ground. Soft lightly textured woven look upholstery weight cotton. Great fabric for sewing projects, pillows, lampshades, small upholstery projects, curtain/ valence or craft projects.

Condition: overall lovely for age and use! Just a few small tears along selvedge as well. See last photo for example of flaws.

I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
