This LISTING is for a GORGEOUS mint overall DOLL HEAD which was MOST LIKELY made by ALT BECK and GOTTSCHALK. CIRCA 1880s acc. to other china head experts in my doll group. He/She as they appear to be a child mold that CAN be used for a boy OR girl doll-- has been on a shelf with my various German China heads, happy to be on display for many years. This head can be beautifully displayed or you can make it into a child doll. NICE Big size head, at 6" tall and 5" wide at shoulder plate. Center part, curly in back, wavy in front, some minor paint rubs on back of head. Exposed ears. Light flash on eye is a reflection from light on the eyes in some pics. Very nice coloring of skin, a warmer white than typical china head dolls.
