ITEM DESCRIPTION

Today we are pleased to offer this nicely preserved volume on Freemasonry!

A great find from a local New England estate!

This scarce antique volume is over 167 years old!

In great condition overall!  Original publisher red cloth binding shows some wear, including light rubbing and soiling to the boards and spine, some general wear around the extremities including bumping to the corners and spine extremes, as well as slight fraying to the cloth, and light rubbing, spotting and soiling to the page edges.  Otherwise this is an attractive, well-preserved antique volume!  Tight and square!  The gilt title lettering and ornamentation on the spine displays nicely from the shelf.

Internally, this volume is in great shape as well.  Both boards are firmly attached to the binding; there is a single page grouping that is loosely attached to the binding, while the rest are secure.  Former ownersignature visible to both front and rear endpapers.  Otherwise clean with no bookplate, inscriptions or library markings to note.

The text block of this volume is very clean throughout.  Pages show typical age-related toning, some general page wrinkling and edge wear, and the odd spot of light foxing or soiling, but otherwise this volume is clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings.  Perfectly readable throughout!

Make sure to see the additional photos in the description below for a thorough look through this antique book!

371 pages with a single page of errata in back.

Measures approximately 7 1/2 inches tall by 5 inches wide by 1 1/4 inches thick.

A perfect addition to any fine collection or a wonderful gift for someone special!
