In 1934 Omega released the Cal T17 a little mechanical movement. But this movement wasn’t just anything, it was quite special. This little movement boasted a 60 hour power reserve. Not even some modern day watches have this now if you factor in its from 1930-40`s and so small then it becomes something exceptional.
This Omega Art Deco Tank has this such movement. In a stainless steel tank case with a aged silver dial which has the classic blued hands but also black Arabic numerals.

Interesting Fact ” T17 movement has a rather simple meaning. The T is in reference to the movements tonneau shape and the 17 to its width at its centre in millimetres”
