Very Good condition. A very nice example on the whole. Slight loss of card to foot of spine, and some sunning to spine. Remnants of old label to edge of slipcase. Light foxing to frontispiece, title and next text leaf. The other plates with only light foxing. There is some minor age-toning to leaves (heavier in a couple of places), but on the whole pages are bright and well-preserved. Lower stitching has perished in one place meaning that a couple of leaves are held by the top stitching. Please ask if you require a more detailed condition report, or view gallery images closely.

This rare almanack has an engraved allegorical frontispiece as well as eight fabulous plates illsutrating scenes from the work of Goethe.
