Note 1 : This set is made specifically for the TR4. It will not fit the TR4A as that has a different floorpan and therefore a different carpet set.
If you have a TR4A, either contact me or you can find an advert for the TR4A in my eBay shop.

Made for a Right Hand Drive Car

Auto Velour is a, Belgium made modern, Needle Punch car carpet material that's around 5mm to 6mm thick, depending on the colour and comes with a flexible but stiff integral, but durable backing making it ideal for any classic modern or old. Its interlocking fibres make it soft to touch.

This sets Colours.
This set is made from Black Auto Velour carpet and is bound with Matching Binding.

Heel Pads.
A Drivers Heel Pad is glued and sewn on to the Right side Footwell Mat for Right Hand Drive (RHD) cars. With the addition of Two Knee Pads, glued and sewn to either side of the tunnel.

A Passenger heel pad can be added but that will delay your set for about 1 to 2 weeks odd, depending on my workload.

Tools used.
I hand cut and do the fine details using different sized sheers and knives and mark with chalk, but the main cut was made using my 4.5 meter long, 160 watt CO2 Laser cutting table (which I also hand built, see You tube) for accuracy and speed, I then hand tailor the addons and finally take it to my machinists (a separate independent company) who assemble and add the binding, the latter is something I'm still learning to do.

Once fitted, your car's interior will look and smell like new again, so buy your car the best carpet set out there today before another British industry disappears (I expect to carry on for another 20 years, so there's hope).

Like matching Handmade Over Mats, the likes you've never seen before, Hand Cut Underlay (Felt) drop in sets (a must have item on any classic) and Boot/Trunk sets etc...

The modern way.
Sadly, creating car carpets this way is a dying art, as no one wants to learn my craft and gain the skills needed to do what I do, hence building my Laser cutting table, but this is the modern world we all created unfortunately.

Courier Dispatching
If you order this on Thursday through till Sunday, Monday will probably be the first chance I get to pack and book a courier, as my last cutting days of the week are Wednesday and Thursday.

Thursday is a 28+ hour day for me, mostly a 16-hour stint in the factory running round tables cutting and creating, so I just have no time to pack and organise couriers till Monday, being on my own.

eBay fees
* Sadly, eBay commands a huge fees (even more for international orders) for you purchasing from me, there's nothing I can do about it, but remember, it's your money you’re handing over to eBays greedy shareholders, not me, plus I have to wait for my "cut" to arrive.

Who am I?
I've been in the trade almost 40 years and I've learned the hard way, so these days, now I have complete control over most parts of the build process, I will do everything I can to get your handcrafted order out on time... As I want you to be happy with my products, so hopefully you'll refer me and my company on to other like mined souls.

Being of the pre-internet era, from the old school way of thinking and making things by hand, I was not born into this new text-based world, and I've had to adapt, abet slowly, kicking and some screaming too, so please give this Dyslexic time to respond.

Tech Autos (TA Classics) is a one-man family run company and I've sunk everything I have and much more into building a factory so I can make your order to my standard, as I have many OCD's.

I always look after all those that look after me and my family… I appreciate every order, no matter how small... And by purchasing you're doing just that, even if eBay often earns more than I do from a sale on here.

I’ll be here for you every step of the way, till the fitting stage, to make sure your order goes smoothly, quickly and without too much interference from eBay and its hideous shareholders.

Like no other classic car carpet company, I'm here for you till gone 2am UK time (never before midday though as I sleep from 7am-ish till 11.45am, but have been known to oversleep, but can you blame me working 80 to 100 odd hours a week?), later if I know you’re calling, as I'm probably at my factory cutting and preparing carpets till gone 4am UK time.

What Are You Buying?
Advertised here is an item that either I or my mentor's previous factory made, although most are my handcrafted items though. If I didn't make it, I will add that to the description in the other tab, so you know.

My Pictures.
All pictures shown are examples of the quality of workmanship only.
Any fitted carpets are my carpets being fitted by my clients, I do not use studio pictures for my carpets, as each one is the real item, that I have made or is being fitted.

Please do not assume that what is pictured is what you will receive as it's impossible to photograph everything I make without incurring a massive expense and a lot of time that I just do not have, as these costs would have to be added your buying price.

The only time you'll get exactly what is in the picture, is when it's an Item I have in stock that is ready to dispatch, what you see is what you will receive.

Unless you want me to adjust it and in that case your request will probably delay your order whilst I do what you request, but if its an outright sale, then I should be dispatching within 1 to 2 days from receiving your order... Unless I get it on Thursday, then the first dispatch day will be the following Monday, unless its a Bank Holiday.

How to communicate safely whilst on eBay.
I'm from the Old School world, and I’m very Dyslexic and struggle badly with the written word, so I prefer to chat (waffle) than to type. I was not born into this typing into tiny text box era and can't stand it either. So please bare with me.

If you send an eBay message or an eBay redirected email between Thursday night post 6pm and Sunday, it may take me till Tuesday to reply to you as I'm that slow with typing, hence the phone is my first communication tool, as it just works.

If you insist on using eBays A.I controlled and overly monitored message service, then please only press the I Have a Question or Details About the Item buttons as you’ll get your reply or update on your order you want, without inflicting damage to my eBay account. (An eBay only problem, getting penalised for an update request and no they won't change it.)

How NOT to communicate whilst on eBay.

I beg you not to press the "Where's my order" or any other buttons bar the ones above in eBay’s message service when asking for an update, plus on the Feedback Page "Did it arrive on time" button, as both are designed to destroy your sellers account and loss of Our Seller status (to gain more fees for their shareholders, who don’t care that we get punished for a courier problem ). For me that’s a huge drop in income and a possible loss of my family’s home, for no fault of our own…

But this is shareholder eBay for you and eBay really don't care as long as their shareholders get their unearned fees …

eBays redirected email service.
This is the latest goalpost moving and the worst part of eBay to date. eBay have removed your personal email address and replaced it with one of their own so that they can circumvent UK and EU privacy laws by redirecting it through their eBay USA email servers.

This causes huge problems for you and I as often eBay’s A.I. monitoring software fails to forward on my confirmation email to you or sends us a jumbled mess or wipes our replies clean and adds the word “null” instead. (Another eBay only problem that eBay refuse to mend or just get rid of.)

I've work really hard for years to look after our clients my way, the old school and honest way and not the eBay way, as that way just brings out the anger and frustration in people whilst trying to confirm or get an update on their order via the ridiculous processes which can be agonisingly slow and unreliable sometimes.

So please, as soon as you have purchased (and not before as we’ll both get penalised as eBay is always listening in) forward on your personal email address so there won’t be any slowdown whilst eBay reads and decides what to do with our communications.

The tracking number.
This will be emailed to your personal email address (not eBays redirected email address).
If you have not provided us with your personal email then we cannot send your tracking number through eBay's message or redirected email services, as eBay cannot be trusted to use them only for their intended.

UK Shipping.
£18.99 is included in the eBay price you pay to cover most UK-to-UK courier and guess what, eBay adds a fee to all shipping costs. I don't make money on shipping costs, unlike eBay does.

International Shipping.
If you're not on the UK mainland, then you're international. Apart from Northern Ireland and some of the Isles off the coast of the UK, all other international shipping are handled by eBay’s own shipping company. You’re paying eBay to use the eBay Global Shipping Program (eGSP). If eBay do not have a listing for your country, then I will get a quote for you, but be prepared for an extra eBay fee to be added to that quote, as eBay will want their cut from it to pass onto their poor and impoverished shareholders.

Firstly eBay won't let us change or ship to any other address other than eBay's UK depot.
Once eBay states that they have received your order, from there on it's all down to eBay.
If it's late or lost or whatever, then it’s entirely eBay’s doing, not ours. PLEASE DO NOT OPEN AN eBay CASE AGAINST US IF IT'S NOT OUR FAULT you’ll badly affect our account if you do. (We'll get penalised for eBay's wrongdoing and is yet another eBay only problem.)

eGSP works like this.
This is a two-part shipping process.
In simple terms... We ship your order to eBay's UK depot and eBay UK ships to you. Simple...

You cannot change the delivery address… eBay won’t let you or I.

Once I've made your order, I will dispatch it direct to eBay’s UK forwarding depot for eBay to process.
Your tracking number is to eBay’s UK depot only, not to your chosen delivery address, therefore I do not usually send this tracking number to you as it confuses some eBayers as to why the address is not theirs. This then adds a lot to my workload as I write back trying to explain how the eBay shipping system works.
Once eBay have signed for your order and logged your package onto their systems, eBay will then send you and I a new tracking number.
eBay will then send you and I updates as the second part of its journey begins.

But eBay will take it’s time (up to a week sometimes) to in touch to let you and I know they have it, this is normal, so do not worry and just hang in there and eBay will come through.
Once you get that eBay message, check your purchase section for an updated eBay tracking number… We do not get that tracking number.
Any problems with eBay shipping, please talk to me first, otherwise eBay A.I. Software will bludgeon its way in and ruin everything. (Another eBay only problem).

... And again, please do not click the "Where's my order" button as that will open a case against us... eBay then adds a black mark onto my account for no reason whatsoever and then I have to spend ages trying to get you to undo the damage you've done to my account, usually you are completely unaware that this has happened, but I am and it gets so depressing and time consuming to put right.


... If this does happen and you do not close the case upon my request, I will have no choice but to cancel the sale as eBay will refund you from the money it had already removed from my bank account in lieu of the case being opened. Sorry, but again this is yet another awful thing eBay inflicts on its sellers.
