Original editorial blue hardback, gilt lettering on spine, in illustrated editorial dustwrapper, dw with minimal wear on margins, otherwise the book is in excellent condition, like new.

An interesting account on codebreaking and naval intelligence during WW1 based on ‘Blinker’ Hall’s autobiography which was banned from publication by the Admiralty in 1933. “Reginald ‘Blinker’ Hall was the British Director of Naval Intelligence from 1914 to 1919, credited with being responsible for bringing the United States into the war in 1917 by the decoding of the Zimmermann telegram”.
