Like evening blooming Pink Moonvine, Caudiciform Morning Glory has a large very light pink to white bloom. It has a dark throat but unlike Pink Moonvine, Caudiciform Morning Glory has spectacular deeply lobed palm shaped leaves. It needs lots of sun as well and it will reward you with magnificent 3 – 4 inch light pink blooms each day throughout the summer and fall. Like Pink Moonvine, Caudiciform Morning Glory is a perennial and can be cut back, trimmed, and live on from year to year.

      Open-air pollination is used by virtually every gardener and can produce crossed varieties.  This can be fortuitous as it provides the gardener with a brand new type of morning glory which can then be refined and sold.  Think twice before removing any odd morning glories you find among your expected cultivar.  It could be one in a million!
