Here is an opportunity to own a piece of history from the Leander Sherman House when it was an inn or hotel serving food to guests. Date unknown. This unique artwork, framed Sherman House letterhead with envelope on which a Creme Brulee recipe is typed by Chef Maria Helm is under a glass front. The frame measures 9" by 13.5 inches. This measurement is to the outside of the frame. The actual recipe and papers are approximately 5.5" by 10" nicely framed with brown mat around them. Label on the back says Art's Desire gifts which is here in North Carolina. I am guessing the former owner (this is from an estate) traveled to California and ate and/or stayed at the Sherman House then brought the paper back home where it was framed.

Condition as shown in the photos. I took it off the wall at the estate so in good condition, pre-owned as shown.

Will be shipped with extra cardboard and bubble as needed to minimize chance of breakage. I usually don't ship pictures under glass like this but this item is the exception. Please as me if you have questions.

The Sherman House, 2160 Green Street, San Francisco, California

International Buyers .... Please Note:  Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Shipping & Handling:  Shipping costs are what post office charges me with only minor handling included. Packing done carefully. Shipping to the United States and other countries if indicated.  Shipping to approved PayPal address.  I will gladly try to combine shipping on multiple like items. I ship promptly after you pay promptly. Insurance will be included in the handling charge if the item warrants it, such as fragile, antique or unusual collectible. Please pay promptly after close of auction since I do not want to file unpaid claim with eBay.  I try to describe items to the best of my knowledge.  If it does not say new or mint condition, then it is not new.  A vintage item will show some signs of wear.  Most of my items are vintage used, pre-owned, so please view the photos included with the description to be sure you are comfortable with the condition and quality before buying. Many of my items are acquired from estate sales so I do not know the prior owner or history of the items. Returns accepted within 30 days.  I reserve the right to cancel all bids if bidder has excessive negative feedback or makes requests for special packaging, handling or other items not included in the original listing. I look forward to giving a positive rating to Buyer after a mutually positive experience.   92023
