This is a nice vintage original hand sculpted and painted Native American Indian storyteller statue. The sculpture depicts a storyteller figure woman with six little ones attached. The item is made of pottery with a hand painted decoration (see photos). The item is vintage and an original work of art (see photos). The sculpture is signed by the artist: Marie E Coriz of the Santo Dominigo Pueblo in New Mexico USA (see photos). The item in total measures about 8+ inches high, it is about 5 inches from the front edge to the back side and it is about 5.5 inches wide from side to side at the feet. The item is from an estate liquidation (see photos and decide the age, the origin and the maker). The item has some scuffs and some wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item). This is a nice vintage artist signed original work of Native American Indian Pueblo sculpture art to add to your collection or interior decor.
