1. original not reproduction late 1800s
2. hand made, laps are tacked
3. paint decorated old paint but newer than the box
4. mid to late 1800s
5. very nice condition
6. nothing broken
7. laps are secure, top and bottom inserts sturdy
8. decoration is painted not stenciled
9. inside shows wear, you can see where things have been stored
10. copper tacks on side, copper tacks were used by the Shaker communities when making pantry boxes
