Lovely rustic hemp textile dating from the late 19th c.  Beautiful tonal checkerboard weave! Gorgeous warm creamy oatmeal color with delightful faded pink monogram MB.  Meticulously hand sewn hems.  Soft heavy floppy hand, really so yummy! 

Wonderful textiles to use in the kitchen. Would also be fabulous to use for upholstery projects, I use them next to sink for dished and as tub mats in the bath/ shower. 

 Condition: Lovely for age and use!  One small snag/ hole and a very faint storage mark that did not fully wash first time.Washed and ready to use.

I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
