A beautiful example of its genre this
two tined robust smaller serving fork sports a superbly fashioned pierced
handle. It is fully hallmarked with the Hestenes of Bergen silversmith device
and associated silver markings, NM for Norste Monster and three crowns followed
by ‘S’ (please see image for details).
In super used condition without
structural fault and the marks are clear too.
Displays extremely well, a very pretty
and highly collectable piece of Norwegian silver.
