The Delta fluid head is designed to support ENG dockable camcorders equipped with large lenses or employed with EFP cameras. Built with an extensive use of ultra-light magnesium alloy, combines excellent reliability with unbeatable cost efficiency and flexibility. Features the award winning, patented fluid damping system ensures consistent drag levels and smooth camera movements throughout the range and allows perfect reproduction of 10 basic tension settings continuously adjustable in both pan and tilt modes.
In addition an infinitely variable counterbalance with easily readable numeric reference, provides excellent performances at any tilt angle from -90° to +90° degrees. Designed to accommodate offset payloads such as long lenses, small prompters and top-mounted viewfinders
Also includes two digital displays to indicate the counterbalance and tilt drag values, while an illuminated spirit level allows easy set-up even in low light conditions.
Continuously Adjustable Counterbalance System
The Delta features an infinitely variable counterbalance with easily readable numeric reference, providing excellent performances (for cameras weighing from 18 to 38 lbs), at any tilt angle from -90° to +90° degrees. Outstanding compensation performances are obtained throughout the tilt range, with a patented and extremely compact counterbalance mechanism based on the combined compression of 4 elastic elements, which are controlled by an ergonomic knob.
For additional convenience, two digital displays powered by a standard 9v battery is included to indicate the counterbalance and tilt drag values.

CONDITION:
- everything in perfect working order (usual wear & tear on knobs, wedge plate and telescoptic pan bar handle) EXCEPT for:
1) when the pan resistance is set to Zero, one can heard a VERY slight rub sound at only point in a whole 360-degree revolution. It's inconsequential to use of the head. (You can spin the head and it will travel 1.5 revolutions.)
2) Tilt Lock no longer functional. (A new Tilt Lock Lever was purchased as previous was required for the OTHER Cartoni Delta D100 I also have up for sale. During partial removal of the Brake Screw, the screw would not spin out. The replacement Brake Screw is $28 from IJES Canada. You could try drilling it out yourself or send to them to have done for $135.) Again, because this head has the Safety-Lock, there is still no danger of the head tilting forward on its own whilst unattended.
