For your consideration is this very large, rich "end-cut" specimen of banded silver, baryte, and acanthite ore from the Bulldog Mountain mine, Creede, Mineral County Colorado USA.

This is an impressive large example of super high-grade silver ore from a classic Colorado locality, collected in the mid 1970's. Great banding and textbook epithermal ore textures.

Ex. Carl Kroll (1941-1996) Collection. Mr. Kroll was a miner at the Bulldog mine for over 20 years and I was lucky to acquire his mineral collection this past July. Look for more updates of fine and unusual Creede, Colorado minerals from this collection in the coming weeks and months!
