DANELECTRO - 59 DANO 12 STRING RED

La Danelectro DC59 12 cordes dans sa version rouge n'est pas sans rappeler la Cadillac, tant par sa couleur que par son style propre aux années 50. Le style rétro de cette guitare est typique de ce qui se faisait en 1959 et Danelectro n'a que peu révisé sa copie, si ce n'est quelques indispensables retouches pour la rendre apte à évoluer dans notre époque. Pour le reste, on retrouve le corps formé d'une ossature en bois sur laquelle prennent place deux planches de masonite, une pour la table et l'autre pour le fond. Ce corps partiellement creux dégage un sustain appréciable ainsi qu'une belle profondeur permettant aux 12 cordes de résonner de la manière la plus efficace qui soit.

Que serait une Danelectro sans ses célèbres lipsticks ? À l'origine, et afin de baisser le prix de fabrication, ces micros étaient fabriqués à partir d'un tube de rouge à lèvres (d'où leur nom). Le résultat a largement dépasser les espérances en faisant ainsi un micro de légende. On le retrouve bien évidemment sur cette DC59 12 cordes, bien que pour l'occasion leur niveau de sortie a été légèrement revu à la hausse. Voilà qui devrait en motiver certains à enclencher l'overdrive ! Niveau accastillage, le chevalet fixe est traversant pour la moitié des cordes ce qui permet d'apporter plus de grosseur au son.
