SIGNED by ANDY WARHOL: INTERVIEW magazine April 1985 Shirley MacLaine Cover I'm shipping it from Chicago.

Here's the story. My Uncle Johnny was a Valet at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles from 1994 to 2002. While there, he would often ask for an autograph on the valet card from the many, many celebrities and sports figures whose cars he parked and brought back to them. In some cases (like with this INTERVIEW magazine) someone was at the hotel doing a book signing, or a magazine signing or a book launch, or something.

He's decided to sell these autographed items, and I'm helping him do that. And here we are.

The autographs have not been authenticated, not this INTERVIEW and not any of the others either. But ANDY WARHOL totally signed it in his presence. This big magazine has an unfortunate sort of divot/tear/on Shirley MacLaine's chin. And the lower corner of the front is sort of turned up. On the back, there is rip near the spine. Those are the only flaws this magazine has. BUT IT'S SIGNED BY ANDY WARHOL. So, there's that. I am selling it AS IS. Please see all photos and read the description for detail on condition.

Please look at all the photos and read everything I've written about the condition and description of this item. Contact me via eBay if you have any questions that the photos or description do not answer. If I can ship it to you safely for less, I will refund you any significant difference. You know, INTERVIEW was, for the brief time it existed, 17" x 11". That's the other thing, INTERVIEW info: "In the early days, complimentary copies of Interview were often given away to the "in-crowd"; this was the start of the magazine's circulation. Over time, Warhol withdrew from everyday oversight of Interview but he continued to act as ambassador for the magazine, distributing issues in the street to passersby and creating ad hoc signing events. From 1972 to 1989, the artist Richard Bernstein created covers of Interview, giving the publication its signature style."

I usually do returns, but I'm NOT doing returns on my autographed items. I think that the reason for that is obvious, to actual autograph collectors, anyway. So, I'm not accepting returns on these autographs. I am an honest, full disclosure seller. I will let my seller record speak for itself, and forego the discount I get for accepting returns.

I'm a highly rated seller and I ship quickly. It'll come to you from a smoke-free, pet-free, virus-free house. Thanks for the consideration.
