These Sim cards are sold as is and cannot be activated for Sprint Nextel or Boost since Nextel USA is no longer in existence.

They are used to access the Direct Talk (DT) feature on only certain Nextel models. DT is sometimes called walkie talkie The DT feature does not rely on network connectivity but rather simplex and distance. A previous used Nextel SIM card is needed in order to use DT. Please note they do not work with the Nextel/Sprint hybrid models like the IC502C model.
