This product offers a solution for Specialized Epic (2015-2017, including World Cup frames) riders looking to enhance their bike's performance by removing the Brain shock. This modification eliminates the need for expensive and time-consuming maintenance, addressing issues like long service waits and poor small bump compliance.
The package includes a yoke along with a titanium M6 bolt and aluminum reducers for easy installation with 1/2" DU shock bushings (not compatible with 5-piece bushings with plastic reducers). The yoke allows users to choose their preferred shock for replacement.
Compatible with shocks featuring an eye-to-eye length of 200mm (7.875") and strokes ranging from 51mm (2.00") to 57mm (2.25"), with the latter increasing the stock frame travel. Shocks with an air can diameter of up to 52.8mm fit without any contact with the frame.
