Criollo is known as the King of Cacao - Criollo is considered a delicacy and prized for its superior flavour of all the cacao bean varieties. A minimum if 75% of this beautiful cacao bean is used to make this ceremonial cacao paste.
Cacao is one of nature's most wonderful superfoods, packed with an abundant powerhouse of nutrients, antioxidants and compounds that boost our body's natural 'feel good' chemicals serotonin, dopamine, GABA, phenylethylamine (PEA) and anandamide. High levels of theobromine produce similar effects to caffeine without the crash associated with caffeine use.
