Hellride are pioneers of acoustic metal and know how to celebrate heavy metal and wow the fans with only two acoustic guitars and vocals. Since the founding in 2010, the band of three has played a great number of shows, e. g. as opener for Freiwild, Accept, UFO and Ektomorf as well as performed at festivals at home and abroad like the “Jyrkkä Festival” in Finland, “Ragnarök Festival” and the world-famous “Wacken Open Air”.

In 2013, the first album “Acousticalized” was released throughout the world. Despite a very positive feedback from the music press, the band could not keep going due to time related and logistic reasons. Therefore, the musicians have decided to go on hiatus for the moment, but not without saying goodbye in form of a release in 2020. During the last years, numerous songs were composed and several of them were chosen for the band’s new and last album.

The forthcoming record “Goodbyes To Forever” features nine songs in total including a cover version of Rod Stewart’s “Young Turks”. With the new album, which will be released on April 17th, Hellride take their leave from the music business and proudly present another monument of acoustic heavy metal!

Hellride sind die Pioniere des Acoustic Metal und schaffen es, allein mit zwei akustischen Gitarren und Gesang Heavy Metal zu zelebrieren und die Fans zu begeistern. Seit der Gründung im Jahr 2010 hat die dreiköpfige Band eine Vielzahl von Konzerten in den Jahren ihres Bestehens absolviert, z. B. als Opener vor Freiwild, Accept, UFO und Ektomorf. Es gab Festivalauftritte im In- und Ausland, z. B. beim „Jyrkkä Festival“ in Finnland, „Ragnarök Festival“ sowie auf dem weltbekannten „Wacken Open Air“.

Im Jahr 2013 wurde dann das erste Album mit dem Titel „Acousticalized“ weltweit veröffentlicht. Trotz einer sehr positiver Resonanz in der Musikpresse konnte die Band aus zeitlichen und logistischen Gründen einfach nicht fortgesetzt werden. Daher entschieden sich die Musiker, das Projekt zunächst ruhen zu lassen, jedoch nicht ohne im Jahr 2020 nochmals eine Abschiedsgruß zu hinterlassen. So sind in den letzten Jahren eine Vielzahl von Songs entstanden, von denen einige für das neue und letzte Album der Band ausgewählt wurden.

Auf dem aktuellen Longplayer „Goodbyes To Forever“ befinden sich insgesamt neun Songs, einer davon eine Coverversion von Rod Stewarts „Young Turks". Mit dem neuen Werk, welches am 17. April erscheinen wird, verabschieden sich Hellride aus dem Musikbusiness und präsentieren mit Stolz ein weiteres Monument des Acoustic Heavy Metal!
