After many different band efforts (Underdog, Black Rose, Lehmann), studiosseions and an intensive time as musicjournatist for the Musikmagazin and Westdeutscher Rundfunk, the project C.T.P. - Christian Tolle Project was born.

The debut album „Better Than Dreams“ was released in 2000 and featured international guets like Steve Lukather from TOTO, Michael Thompson, Tim Pierce, Lauren Scheff, Mathias Dieth (UDO, Sinner) or singer Stephan Scheuss. It got excellent reviews and feedback from the press, media and the AOR community.
5 years after the release of „Better Than Dreams“ it was time to continue. With the release „The Real Thing“, Christian again delivered 10 songs that feature a refreshing variety of modern Rock music. An impressive list of guest musicians gives the album a very special flavour. Christian is again joined by Steve Lukather, Doug Aldrich, Morris Adriaens, Chuck Wright, Lauren Scheff, with Pit Hupperten, Stephan Scheuss and John „Jaycee“ Cuijpers handling vocal duties.

Because of the great chemistry between Christian and John, both decided to join forces. With the Dutch based band Cooper Inc. Christian supported TOTO in 2005, 2006 and 2007, Vengeance and Kane. Cooper Inc. also did many shows on their own especially in the Benelux area and Germany. The band got together with producer Michael Voss to record the full lenght album „Pulling The Trigger”, which got released in October 2009.

2012 will be the year of C.T.P. again: The brandnew and third release „The Higher They Climb“ is finished! Christian and Michael Voss co-produced 12 tracks between summer and winter 2011. The result is nothing less than stunning meldodic rock: Performed with an incredible amount of energy the album contains a powerful mixture of hard hitting Heavy Rock tracks and catchy hooklines, great guitar work and some of the best voices in the genre: David Reece (Ex-Accept, Bangalore Choir), Leon Goewie (Vengeance), Paul Shortino (King Kobra, Ex-Quiet Riot, Rough Cutt) and Michael Voss (Michael Schenker, Casanova, Mad Max). Christian also invited a few of his friends to join him as guests: L.A. guitar wizard Michael Landau, Ben Granfelt (Ex-Wishbone Ash), Andy Susemihl and Morris Adriaens play a guitar solo on one track each and give the record a special flavour.

Nach verschiedenen Bands (Underdog, Black Rose, Lehmann), Studiosessions und einer intensiven Zeit als Musikjournalist beim Fachblatt Musikmagazin und beim Westdeutschen Rundfunk wurde die Idee für C.T.P. - Christian Tolle Project - geboren. Das erste hörbare Ergebnis - Better Than Dreams - ist dann im Jahr 2000 auf dem eigenen Label CTM christonesmusic erschienen und versammelt eine illustre Schar internationaler Gäste wie Steve Lukather von TOTO, Michael Thompson, Tim Pierce, Lauren Scheff, Ma-thias Dieth (UDO, Sinner) oder Sänger Stephan Scheuss. Seinerzeit entstanden 10 AOR-Titel, die gleich-ermaßen bei Publikum und Presse hervorragende Reaktionen auslöste.

Mit dem zweiten Album The Real Thing setzte C.T.P. 2005 das Konzept des Erstlings konsequent fort. So finden sich auf dem zweiten Album erneut 10 starke Titel aus dem breiten Spektrum handgemachter Rockmusik: Eine beeindruckende Liste an Mitwirkenden hat - wie schon beim Erstling - auch auf The Real Thing vorzügliche Akzente gesetzt. Neben Christian an Gitarre und Bass sind Steve Lukather, Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake), Chuck Wright (House Of Lords), Lauren Scheff, Tim Pierce und einige andere mehr als Gäste mit von der Partie. Für die Lead-Gesänge zeichnen sich Stephan Scheuss, Pit Hupperten und vor allem John Cuijpers verantwortlich.

In der Folge ist es gelungen, die fruchtbare Chemie mit Sänger John Cuijpers auch dauerhaft zu etablieren. Mit der holländischen Formation um John Cuijpers, COOPER INC., spielte Christian 3 Jahre lang in Folge als Support Act für die Kalifornier von Toto in Deutschland und veröffentlichte - erneut auf seinem eigenen Label - 2009 den von Michael Voss produzierten Debüt-Longplayer Pulling The Trigger von Cooper Inc.

2012 steht wieder im Jahr von C.T.P.: Das dritte Album The Higher They Climb ist fertig! Zusammen mit Co-Produzent Michael Voss erstellt, krachen 12 Tracks aus den Boxen, die das Herz des Heavy-Rock-Fans höher schlagen lassen. Wucht, Melodie und Hooklines stehen auf dem Programm. Das kompakte Songwriting wurde mit den Gesangsperformances von Paul Shortino (Quiet Riot, Rough Cutt, King Kobra), Leon Goewie (Vengeance), David Reece (Accept, Reece, Bangalore Choir) und Michael Voss (Michael Schenker, Casanova, Mad Max) veredelt.
