A beautiful bookplate showing a young woman, scantily clad, making an offering to Flora, the Roman goddess of flowers and of the season of spring.

"The Connoisseur - A Magazine for Collectors" (later for "print collectors") showcased luxury subjects such as fine art, collectibles and curios, antique furniture, etc. Edited by J. T. Herbert Bailey 1864-1914.

Condition/Dimensions: Suitable for framing. The print measures overall 280x210mm (11x8.25" inches) approx. including borders. It is in good condition. It has a blank reverse and is on good quality paper. This is not a mounted framed item. Any watermarks on the listing image do not appear on the actual item. This is a genuine, quality, antique book plate as the date states and not a modern reprint/reproduction. This item will be shipped flat in a board backed envelope, protected by a plastic sleeve.
