This is a PRETTY and ANTIQUE very fine statue ( sculpture ), signed O. Gladenbeck ( Oskar Gladenbeck ) ( 1850-1921 ).

Depicting a seated sailor boy, bare feet, seating on a column at the seaport, in a very expressive way, waiting for someone or something, holding a pipe in his right hand.

Signed on the bottom back O. GLADENBECK G.mb. H, also can read Bronce Garant.

Also signed at the bottom side Woodtke. Fec ( likely the foundry name ).

Very nice and fine piece.
