Red Finger-lime


(Citrus australasica)


Commonly known as the Finger-lime, it is a unique native citrus species, found around the east coast region.

White flowers followed by finger shaped fruit. Red caviar flesh.

Wild Aussie flavour and a hardy plant.


Due to media and advertising, only the finger-lime is well known.

However, Australia has 5 unique species of limes, found nowhere else in the world.

Uses


An excellent bush tucker, that produces finger shaped limes.


What will I receive?


You will receive a strong, small, bushy grafted plant in a forestry tube.

Plant size approximately: 20cm

Fruiting will commence almost immediately but is better to let the plant grow to size to allow for branch and stems which will carry the fruit, which typically happens after a full year of growth.
