Photograph Notes: The lady who lives in the right hand cottage (see [[3548854]] and [[3548834]]) says she was told by an ex-grammar-school boy who had studied the village that this building is "posher" than the one next to it. Who am I to judge, but the stonework is more ornate in the right hand building, as are the chimneys, and that building has bands of blue bricks around it. At a guess it was built first and the one on the left, also very smart, was built to resemble it as closely as possible.
