This delightful piece is a beautifully modelled profile portrait of an Australian Aboriginal male rendered in relief. The surface of the wall mask has been finished in an earthy brown glaze, with darkening to the recesses adding superb definition.
SIZE: This impressive piece measures approx 105mms high x 85mms wide x 25mms in depth.
WEIGHT: This piece weighs 80 grams unpackaged.
CONDITION: This wall plaque is presented in good vintage condition with a few shallow chips to the rim, noticeable only on extremely close examination but mentioned for complete accuracy. This piece has been very well cared for and displays magnificently.
MARKS: This piece is signed with an inscribed mark to the reverse "Handmade in Australia" in a manner consistent with Alva Stone.
