- Thermoset Silicone Insulator - Unlike thermoplastic PVC insulator will start melt over 100℃and cause electric fire, but the silicone insulator will never melt. The PVC jacket will become very stiff & easy to be broken around 0℃, however, silicone insulator will keep 8 Gauge electrical wire flexibility performance in extremely low temperature.
