This listing is for 2x (a pair) of new Ecotech Vortech MP40 series “wet side” cover/ anemone guards in light blue.

3D Printed using the highest quality ABS filament and considered “reef safe”.

The guard simply slides onto your existing Vortech “wet side”, offering protection on the intake sides, to keep smaller fish, anemones and other animals safe from the impeller.

The guards fit securely in place and will not come loose, fall off or spinning on the pump itself.

The guard may reduce flow rate slightly, so you may want to increase flow slightly after install, to maintain the desired level of flow.

I’ve been using these on my QD quiet drive pumps for quite some time now. They are great guards for these pumps.

Other colours can be made available. I will do my absolute best to ship same day, or very next day if I need to reconfigure my printer to print the colour you desire. Please keep in mind that these guards will take me in excess of 7 hours each to produce.

**Beware of other sellers, offering cheaper aquarium equipment where they do not specify filament used, or use PLA filament. Only ABS and PETG is 100% reef safe and will not degrade over time, where as PLA material is not reef safe and will turn brittle and snap in a a matter of months. These guards are printed using high quality ABS filament, reef safe and built to last.

Please message me straight after purchase with the colour you desire, otherwise I will assume that light blue is your desired colour.

Black, White, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Grey,Gold, Natural & Silver.

Please note that this is a 3D printed item, and may show layer lines or very slight imperfections, due to the nature of the printing process. I always use the highest resolution settings to maximise the quality of the items that I produce

The price for item simply reflects the cost of shipping, material used in production, electricity, general upkeep/ wear and tear on my equipment and little for the time it takes to produce and continuously monitor the printing process.
