Dino Martens was a prolific glass artist for some of the most well-known glass making institutions in history. Murano, Aureliano Toso, etc... Dino had a very specific artistic approach to his glasswork. This slightly curved, bloated, and visually "imperfectly shaped" glass vase is an astounding addition to Dino Martens history of strange and peculiar uses for colors and shapes. The pin-stripe filigrana design creates a mesmerizing visual illusion, and largely stands out amongst other art glass sets.
