I offer a collection of over 4000 (!!!) vintage sewing machine patents from USA between 1842 and 1884. This was a period of intensive developement of sewing machine technique.

All patents are complete, that means contain the full text and all (often beautiful and very informative - see example) drawings. The patents are busy with sewing machines, parts of it or accessories like machine cases.

This collection of 4000 (!!) patents was made by the seller, it is the world best overview about sewing machine technique patents in the world!

You will find information about historical development of sewing machines technique (sewing machines or parts / accessories of it) of this period only here in this easily to handle, perfect kind! It is interesting especially for collectors but also for other people who are interested in the history of sewing.

The inventors / owners come mostly from USA, sometimes also from other contries, for example famous I. M. Singer, Grover & Baker, Pollack & Schmidt (Hamburg, Germany), Charles F. Bosworth, John Bachelder, Wilhelm / William Weitling, Wilson, Cornely (France), Willcox & Gibbs, American Buttonhole, Overseaming and Sewing Machine Company, Weed Sewing Machine Company, Isaac Farwell,  Gold Metal Sewing Machine Company and a lot more.

Delivery is as pdf file collection on 2 CDs (not printed!). Each file contains one complete patent. You need only the wellknown free programme Acrobat Reader or a similar one to open the files. You can also print each file. If you take for example "antique stile paper" you can make nice pictures for wall decoration for yourself.

Also included is an Excel list with patent numbers, datas of issue and patent titles (NOT inventors / owners).  The list is linked directly to the patent files so that each patent will be open easily if you click on the link.

It is not really a problem if you do not have the programme Excel from Microsoft. You can use  the free Excel Viewer or a common other free office programme. So you can open and print the Excel table without problem!
