The janggu (or janggo; also spelled changgo) is the most widely used drum used in the traditional music of Korea. It is available in most kinds, and consists of an hourglass-shaped body with two heads made from animal skin. The two heads produce sounds of different pitch and timbre, which when played together are believed to represent the harmony of man and woman.
This Janggu is in the size 1.7ja 51cm in length and 43.5cm in drum skin diameter (20 x 17 inches). This is a standard model made with quality cowhide skin and pine wood. It comes with a carrying case, bamboo drum stick and drum mallet.
