ITEM DESCRIPTION

Today we are pleased to offer this nicely preserved volume by Gamaliel Bradford!

A great find from a local New England estate!

This scarce antique first edition is over 110 years old!

1st Edition.  Ex-library.

In fantastic condition overall!  Original publisher red cloth binding shows just gentle wear, including a library catalog sticker pasted to the spine, some rubbing to the boards and fading to the spine, some general wear around the extremities including light bumping to the corners and spine extremes, and some rubbing and soiling to the page edges, including the gilt top edge.  Otherwise this is an attractive, well-preserved antique volume!  Tight and square!

Internally, this volume is in great shape overall.  Both boards and all page groupings remain attached to the binding.  Volume is very sturdy.  This is an ex-library volume with bookplates and library markings visible to the front and rear endpapers and fly pages, as well as the title page and copyright page.  Otherwise this volume is clean and free from signatures and inscriptions.

The text block of this volume is very clean throughout.  There is typical age-related toning to the pages, some minor edge wear, and some light foxing scattered throughout, but otherwise this volume is clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings.  Perfectly readable throughout!

291 pages.

Measures approximately 8 3/4 inches tall by 6 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches thick.

A perfect addition to any fine collection or a wonderful gift for someone special!
