RMS Franconia and the New York City skyline. About 1938.
Photo taken by my father from the MS Batory.
Launched in 1922 for the Cunard Line. Had several mishaps, but recovered from them all and was retired in 1956.
In 1945 she was used as a headquarters ship for Winston Churchill and the British delegation at the Yalta Conference.
