D&G Brown Wool tweed sleeveless shift dress size 30/44/10–12

Here we have a lovely quality dress, made in Italy for the D&G range from Dolce and Gabbana. This dress very much reminds me of vintage dresses, it is very hard to get dresses made in thick quality tweed fabrics like this now. I think this is such a timeless style dress, I'm not sure exactly when it was made but it would look especially good worn with a brown or beige turtleneck jumper for that cool 70s retro look. A timeless wardrobe favourite.

This dress is in excellent condition, with no signs of wear that I can see. It might benefit from a dry clean to freshen it up, if it were me I would get one or two more wears out of it first!

Labelled as a size 30/44, please refer to measurements and compare to a similar garment of your own before buying, for a true indication of size. I estimate this dress to fit a UK size: 10–12. This is the size of the mannequin and it fits well.

I really like the colours of this dress, which feature browns, beiges, mustard yellow and dark brown in the geometric pattern of the tweed. This will pair up especially well with other warm toned colours.

The Outer Tweed fabric is 46% acrylic, 38% wool, 12% polyamide and 4% other fabrics. The belt is real genuine leather. The lining is 52% viscose rayon and 38% polyester mix. The lining is brown satin.

Other design details include V-neck. Sleeveless style. The belt is fixed to the dress. The lining features lace appliqué trim to the bottom hem of the garment. The back features central concealed zip which ends at about the hips. Metal Hook and bar closure at the top of the zip. The back is plain.

I have absolutely no doubts about the authenticity of the item, as it is a very good quality garment. there is also the designers hologram label inside. Buy with confidence!

waist measurement: approximately 15 inches unstretched. Hips about 18 inches unstretched. Length of the garment, from the nape of the neck to the bottom hem: about 37 inches.
