ITEM DESCRIPTION

Today we are pleased to offer this nicely preserved volume on the Rockies by Courtney Ryley Cooper!

A great find from a local New England estate!

This scarce antique first edition is over 98 years old!

1st Edition.  Ex-library.

In good condition overall!  Original publisher cloth binding shows wear, a library catalog sticker pasted to the spine, some rubbing and soiling to the boards and spine, general wear around the extremities including light bumping to the corners and spine extremes, and some soiling to the page edges.  Binding is also a bit cocked, but remains tight.  Otherwise this is an attractive, well-preserved antique volume!

Internally, this volume is in good shape as well.  Both boards and all page groupings remain firmly attached to the binding.  This is an ex-library volume with bookplates and library markings visible to the front and rear endpapers and fly pages, as well as the title page and copyright page.  Otherwise this volume is clean and free from signatures and inscriptions.

The text block of this volume is very clean throughout.  There is typical age-related toning to the pages, some minor edge wear, and the odd spot of light foxing or soiling, but otherwise this volume is clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings.  Perfectly readable throughout!

Nicely illustrated throughout.  Make sure to see the additional photographs in the description below for a thorough look through this antique tome.

294 pages.

Measures approximately 8 1/2 inches tall by 5 3/4 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches thick.

A perfect addition to any fine collection or a wonderful gift for someone special!
