Photograph Notes: Scott's Road is visible in this view (the industrial estate, though, does without the apostrophe). See also [[3608947]]. Further ahead, Scotts Road becomes a private road to Rosshall Mains. I did not follow that part of the road, but I did observe that the streetmap I was using marks an "earthwork" to the south of that part of the road. Large-scale OS mapping also marks the site, but it employs a cross-like symbol indicating (correctly) that there is now little or nothing to be seen on the ground. There is a WoSAS report ://wosas.net/wosas_site.php?id=8860 for that site, stating that crop marks were visible from the air in 1957. For those who wish to see the feature, I recommend using Google earth's "historical imagery" feature, and looking at the satellite images taken in August 2010 (8/2010 on the slider bar): a circular cropmark centred on c.[[NS50646313]] is clear to see, measuring about 53 metres (175 feet) in diameter.
