Lovely rustic hemp textile dating from the late 19th century to 1910.  Beautiful warm light oatmeal color with delightful small cross stitch monogram MR hand sewn in red.  Floppy nubby woven hemp textile.  Medium wight slightly course hand that will soften with washings and use. It seems barely used if at all. I have washed and hung to dry. You can put in dryer to soften if you choose. 

Wonderful textiles to use in the kitchen. Would also be fabulous to use for upholstery projects, I use them next to sink for dished and as tub mats in the bath/ shower. 

 Condition: Lovely for age and use!  No notable stains or holes. Washed and ready to use.

I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
