Details: This auction is for the stunning Sherman pin brooch and bracelet, made in 1960s in Canada. The brooch has exquisite snowflake shape, adorned with clear and smoky sparkling Swarovski rhinestones, set in silver tone metal. The bracelet features elegant design with clear and smoky Swarovski rhinestones, set in silver tone metal, complete with security chain.

 

Gustave Sherman founded his Montreal manufacturing company,

Sherman Costume Jewelry, in 1947. By the 1950s, Sherman had established himself as Canada’s foremost costume jeweler. His high end costume jewelry was some of the most expensive on the market.

 

The brooch and bracelet are as seen in the photos. The brooch and bracelet are not signed, but come with original silver foil tag JEWELS OF ELEGANCE SHERMAN.

 

 

Measurements: The brooch measures approx. 2.25" across, the open bracelet is 7.5" long together with the clasp, about 7" long with closed clasp and 0.8" wide.

 

Condition: The Sherman brooch is in excellent condition. A few of the bracelet’s crystals show some light discoloration (seen when you look very close), that is reflected in the lowered asking price and it doesn’t detract from the beauty.
