Vintage 1970s (estimating - unsure of exact era) Victorian style high neck embroidered bodice dress

Prairie style, cottage core romantic lace dress with sheer sleeves and neckline.

Satin like camisole with lace overlay. Gorgeous embroidered detail and faux pearls around bodice.

This dress is similar to Gunne Saxe style dresses and appears to be a Grace Kelly inspired style.

Dress is not branded and is a vintage size 8. PLEASE REFER TO MEASUREMENTS BELOW! Vintage sizing may differ from sizing of modern clothing.

Please refer to pictures, as this dress is at least 50 years old and has some damage.

Notice the pictures with arrows pointing to a tear in the lace of neckline. Also, the lace on the bottom hem is separated from the dress in a large area.


I also noticed some of the threading coming apart, due to age. I'm not sure if the threading is meant to be the golden hue or if it has turned. I have spot cleaned some spots from the dress. Color darkening near bottom. There may be a few picks in the lace, but nothing significant. There may be some discoloration and/or transfer of colors that I have overlooked, but I try to capture and disclose all known issues. I have looked this dress over and that's all I have noticed.
