A rare volume to find in any condition! Undated; inscribed by the author to a John Muir, Esq in 1886.
Original softcover pamphlet with printed paper wraps; lacking rear wrap. In nice shape overall. Exterior shows wear as pictured, including typical age-related toning, rubbing and soiling, general wear around the extremities including minor chipping and creasing. Printed text remains intact and is perfectly readable.
Internally, this volume is in good shape as well. The front cover and all page groupings are attached to the sewn binding. There are no bookplates, signatures, inscriptions or library markings to note.
The text block itself is very clean, showing just typical age-related toning, as well as light foxing and soiling in the margins. Otherwise this volume is clean and free from rips, tears, writing and markings. Perfectly readable throughout!
