This item is in my "Distressed and Discounted" category.
Significantly distressed or notably damaged textiles. Great deals for the right project or artist!
Pleases read full listing carefully and review photos closely as part of condition description.

This quilt is listed in my "Distressed and Discounted"  due to numerous holes with hand mends. There are a number of mends that are a few inches and 8-12 very small mends. There are also at least one other small hole I noted not mended.
In very stable overall condition. Amazingly after numerous days of soaking and rinsing most all of the staining is gone. Really nothing notable left that caught my eye.  So really only flaws are the numerous mends. When held to light there are some areas with thinner batting but you don't see or feel that really when just looking or holding.
Otherwise this is a fabulous that has a beautiful quilting pattern with large center detail. Two lovely prints.
One side charming softly aged muted  floral with thorny roses. The other with delightful bold floral print with yellow ground that has a slight green undertone.  Dating 1910-30.
The first few photos are fairly good color representation on my monitor. Some photos are not as strong as colors really are, winter lighting!

And CLEAN!!!

Approximate measurements 74" x 80"   7+ lbs

I do my best to accurately describe condition and point out major flaws, but condition is seldom perfect as one would expect from a 100 year old textile. Small marks and flaws should be expected. The timeworn look and signs of their unique history is part of what makes them so charming and special!
