Circa 1920's, this is a Pueblo Santo Domingo, triple strand, hand ground Heishi bead, pressed plastic orange coral, hand spun fine wool thread, and sinew stringing of the beads necklace.   it wiped up beautifully and has no stretching to the stringing.

you can run your fingers over the Heishi beads like silk.   nicely ground. the stinging of the beads is sinew.  the sinew then is covered by fine hand spun wool threading.  there is a whisper thread on the neckline.

the pressed plastic coral beads are unique.  a trade of some sort.

this necklace measures  33" in length, 1/8" in diameter of the neckline wool covered sinew.

the Heishi beads measure just a hair shy of 1/8" in diameter.   nice.

the pressed plastic orange coral beads measure 1/2" in length and a touch over 1/16" in width.   the symmetry of the coral allows the necklace to flow and not be all branchy.   superb in design and workmanship.

very attractive!
