Here is a Bone Porcelain double egg coddler made in England by Royal Worcester. The bright glossy white front side has gorgeous cluster of red berries in the center. The opposite side has a big rosy peach. The band at the opening has metal threads. The chrome lid with a round ring handle is shiny and free of corrosion with no dents or scratches.

The condition of both pieces is very good with no chips, cracks, crazing, stains, dents, rust, or utensil marks. The Royal Worcester egg coddler is made of “fireproof cooking porcelain” making it oven-to-table ready.

Measurements: The cup bottom is 3" tall and 2 ½” in diameter. With the metal lid screwed on the full height to the ring handle is 4”. This is a double egg serving size.

The back stamp with a scrolled W inside a black circle reads “Royal Worcester Porcelain, Made in England”. From this stamp I believe it was produced in the 1960 or 70s.

Growing up uncivilized in Los Angeles, I thought these coddlers were charming little jars with a threaded lid to keep special jewelry items safe. I’d never known about coddlers before last year. Now I understand they offer a great way to achieve perfect egg doneness.

Thanks for looking.
