A gleaming set comprising a pretty cream jug and matching sugar basin by
the renowned silversmiths Mappin and Webb. This curvaceous pair are finished
with a pronounced rim and sport superbly shaped handles with neat scrolls.
In very good vintage condition with a generous silver cover having
retained a mirror finish. On very close inspection you will find some really
tiny dots to one side of the sugar but these are extremely unobtrusive and need
searching for. There is a small pale freckle of wear to the base of the spout (as
shown in the image provided where it is attached to the body of the creamer) otherwise
the set is super.
Display extremely well, a good example of the genre by this top drawer
maker.
